The USA connector is a carbon coupling kit with an aluminum clamp. 

This handy piece of kit is used to quickly connect or disconnect the two halves of the kayak paddle. Not only can you split the paddle in half which is super handy for travelling, but you can also alter the length and feather of the paddle.  The USA connector gives up to 10cm adjustment in length, which is marked clearly on the carbon tube.  The feather / angle  scale is marked in 5 degree increments. 

The USA connector is particularly suited to expedition paddles to allow for splitting and  handy storage, test or club paddles (where several people will share a paddle)  as well as being perfect for growing teenagers.   To ensure longevity of this piece of kit, it is important to handle the aluminium clamp with care. 

Offered in 3 sizes only, this must be an accurate fit for the shaft :-

USA original - internal diameter 25.9mm / external diameter 29mm 

USA2 - internal diameter 25.5mm / external diameter 28.3mm 

USA3 - internal diameter 26.6mm / external diameter 29.1mm
