FOR PADDLES

Galasport have developed a CSLX  fully carbon blade specifically for the new Olympic discipline, based on the best selling Meg range they currently produce for Slalom.  The Meg CSLX blade comes in one size. 

Complying with the ICF rules for KAYAK CROSS, Galasport have designed these blades with an edge thickness of 5mm and a 2.5mm radius.  The MEG L CSLX performs well in the water, guaranteeing a balanced, high quality stroke - forwards, backwards and also during Duffek stroke.  

Galasport have developed the edge of the blade with special material to be both safe on impact, whilst being extremely abrasion resistant with NO alloy tips.

MEG L CSLX blades are suitable for paddlers in both men's and women's senior category, as well as for strong junior paddlers.

Pair these blades with Galasport's K1 NO SLIDE carbon shafts.  These shafts do not slide in your hand and are very rigid, allowing fast acceleration.  Available in 28mm or 29mm diameter shafts.

Alternatively for KAYAK CROSS (CLSX) we have Galasport Laki Extreme Elite kayak blades. 

Complying with the ICF rules for 2024 for  KAYAK CROSS, these elite carbon blades have black aramid seam tape along the whole length of the blade edge.  This ensures the required minimum thickness of 5mm and radius of 2.5mm and also provides reinforcement of the edges and resistance to abrasion.

FOR KIT

Developed for whitewater and crosses over seamlessly for Kayak Cross (or CSLX as its also known) the Baller 87 range from Hiko is the perfect choice.  

The Baller 87 range is available in several options:-

"87" means the optimum cockpit size is 87 cm (34.2 in.) The actual recommended range is 82 cm (32.2 in.) > 92 cm (36.2 in.) however. This deck will fit most creek boats out there.
