HIKO dry suits come in both unisex (ODIN) and women's cut (CALYPSO).

"In November 2024 I managed to get my hands on the Odin Air4X dry suit by Hiko, kindly supplied by Canoe-tec.  I was eager to get on the water and put it through its paces.  It's now mid October 2026, and I have to say the performance of this dry suit over the last two years has been astounding.

Firstly, the suit itself has proved to be very durable. Scottish kayaking often involves dragging boats through mud, hiking into gorges, and battling brambles in an effort to get a glimpse of a rapid. Through all of this, I have never worried about the suit. Not only does the medium fit my body well—meaning I am not concerned about loose fabric catching—the tough patches around the knees and elbows provide that extra protection that Scottish kayaking demands.

Further to the durability in the fabric, the waterproofing has held its own. In the time I have had the suit I have spent countless days kayaking in the UK and I have done two full Norway trips. Despite all the work it has done, the suit is still dry, and all the seams are in order. In both toughness and waterproofing, the suit has seriously held its own. 

One thing I love about the Odin, is that it is a Hiko suit and is distributed by Canoe-tec. There has only ever been one problem with the suit and this was when I cut open the knee when climbing a barbed wire fence. Despite this being entirely user error, Canoe-tec were incredibly helpful in guiding me through how I might fix it, and the free patch provided by Hiko did just the job. 

For the price point, I am continually impressed by Hiko. Not only is the gear tough, waterproof, and well designed, it is supplied by a genuinely lovely local company in Scotland. In a world of expensive gear and over complicated designs, the Odin dry suit shines through as a great option at a great price."
